Technology Lesson Plan: “Buy” clothes at Macys.com

Level: Beg Low- Int.

Length: 1 class period (1 1/2 hours)

Language objectives: Read clothing words, making buying decisions, ask & answer simple questions

Computer/Technology skills: Use the Internet.

Previously taught: Clothing words, numbers

Procedure:
Review clothing words.
Go over instructions for shopping at Macys.com and demonstrate with projector.
Have pairs work together to follow the instructions and fill a “shopping bag” with $500 worth of clothing, accessories & shoes.
When each pair has a printed “shopping bag,” help students fill out the questions about what they bought at the top of the handout.

Students walk around to interview each other to fill out the rest of the handout.
